There is no minimum age and parent’s consent is not legally required. However girls under 16 years of age need to have counseling at the Institute of Health before having the pregnancy terminated. All abortions performed in Singapore come under the Regulations of the Ministry of Health (MOH) .The Termination of Pregnancy Act requires mandatory counseling for some Singapore Citizens .
